Ho, Ho, Ho! A Merry Christmas To You All!

It’s that time of year again. I can’t believe how quickly another Christmas has come around yet again!

Christmas, like many other celebrations throughout the year, is a busy time for we photographers and it’s been no exception for me this year either; with a diary full of corporate Christmas parties, awards ceremonies and family gatherings to photograph – it’s been non stop! Phew!

One of the fun events I was asked to photograph this year was the Shipley Christmas Extravaganza which was held on the 1st December in the Market Square in Shipley town centre. This fun family event was organised by Bradford Council and the retailers of Shipley, and featured loads of activities for the kids and parents alike and of course the all important visit by Santa.

Some of the photographs I took may be seen on this page (Click on the thumbnails below to view the larger image). Other photographs will be on display in early January at the Shipley Focus’d Gallery. Exhibition dates are still to be decided so watch this space for an update.

Santa in a Good Mood

Roger Moody as SantaIn keeping with the Santa theme of this post: I was asked by the owner of a local children’s day nursery here in Cleckheaton, to act as a Santa for the youngsters.

Always game for a laugh and happy to oblige, I donned my trusty Santa costume and boots (albeit muddy ones as someone has pointed out) and paid them a visit.

One of the parents took this photograph.

Seasons Greetings

So it remains for me to wish all my clients, blog readers and subscribers, a very happy Christmas and a prosperous 2013.

I’m away now for a much needed holiday in the sun with my own family until January. See you in the new year and have a peaceful Christmas.
