Hello, I’m Roger V Moody and I’m a creative commercial and advertising photographer based in Cleckheaton near Bradford and Leeds in West Yorkshire.
I have over 15 years experience working as a professional photographer for clients within the news and media sector, business, corporate and alongside teachers and children in education. I also offer creative photographic services to the general public including wedding photography and family portraits.
Originally from Salisbury in Wiltshire I was educated at South Devon College then Swansea Metropolitan University, where I gained a BA (Hons) Degree in ‘Photography in the Arts’.
After this my professional photographic experience really began as I started work within the news media industry for the Portsmouth Press and Publishing group in 1997, my first assignment being with the West Sussex Gazette. After four years as the Senior Photographer for the Andover Advertiser I was was offered a position with the Telegraph and Argus in Bradford, West Yorkshire and as a result, I relocated to the North of England.
Since 2005, I’ve been working as a successful freelance, commercial photographer covering photographic work for clients as wide ranging as Yorkshire Forward in the corporate sector and The Daily Telegraph in the news media sector as well as numerous creative photographic projects for businesses, charities and individuals across the Yorkshire region.
Recent commissions have included creating an audio-visual based around the growth of The National Forest for the Childrens’ Music Workshop, premiered in Lichfield Cathedral and being designated as the official photographer for Bradford’s City of Film festival.
I live close to Bradford and Leeds in the town of Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire with my wife and two young sons and enjoy windsurfing and spending time with family and friends when I’m not behind my camera.
My range of photographic styles is wide, so if you’re looking for a professional photographer for a project you have in mind, please check-out my portfolio for examples of my work before giving me a call to discuss how I can help up.
